More Más Marami Fest

  • Convergence Arts Center 1345 The Alameda San Jose, California, 95126 (map)

More Más Marami Arts and Convergence Arts Center are thrilled to be hosting our debut emerging arts festival, More Más Marami Fest, in collaboration with La Raíz Magazine! Join us for new theatrical scripts, dance performances, poetry readings, and more! All art presented at More Más Marami Fest is created by local, emerging artists from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

As a theatre collective, More Más Marami Arts seeks to make MORE art and make it MORE accessible for everyone in San Jose and beyond. Together with our partners at Convergence Arts Center, La Raíz Magazine, and our community of artists, we hope to offer San Jose communities and neighbors an exciting weekend filled with laughter, thoughtful artistic talkbacks, and most of all -- meaningful stories.

OUR LINE UP INCLUDES:

  • More Más Marami Arts’ 4th annual Writers Launchpad! Writers Launchpad features emerging local writers and their new scripts, leading up to a series of staged readings with audience feedback.

  • Dance performances by Convergence Arts Center

  • Poetry readings from La Raíz Magazine. Featured poets include: Laura Díaz Tovar, Claudia Meléndez Salinas, Chloe Gentile-Montgomery, Tongo Eisen-Martin, and Josiah Luis Alderete

  • And more!

Tickets are available here starting at $5. This space will be updated as more information comes in.
